RULES FOR SELECTION AND ADMISSION IN NAVODAYA

1. Since this is a competitive exam it is not sufficient for a candidate to mearly pass in the three sections. The candidate must try to get maximum marks and higher rank in the merit list

2. It is not to be supposed to that hi marks will ensure a seat in the JNV. At the time of seeking actual admission, each selected candidate will have to produce all the relevant certificate , as prescribed by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

3. At the time of seeking actual admission till the relevant certificate have been checked and found to be satisfactory The selection will be considered provisional

4. In case of any dispute the decision of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti shall be final and binding on the candidates

5. Marks obtained by the candidates both selected and not selected in the test will not be communicated

6. There is no provision for re-valuation of answer scripts . since the results, are processed through computers and sufficient care is taken to ensure accuracy through various checks in processing the results, no request for re -totalling of marks will be entertained.

7.  While making any enquiry, the candidates name, seat number, centre number, Block, District,and state should be mentioned clearly or the enquiry will not be entertained.

8.  Big candidates and their parents guardians may note that under the scheme of the JNV students of ajny located in one state may be transferred to JNV located in another state for one academic year when the students are promoted to class 9. Ine case off refusible of the students selected for this migration continuation of such students in JNV will not be allowed.

9. The candidates and their parents Guardians may note that the children selected on the basis of the taste will be admitted only in the JNV located in the district from where they appeared for the jnvst. under no circumstances will the selected candidate be given admission to any other JNV. No request for shifting of students will be entertained.

10. Candidates belonging to the SC ST category will have to produce a certificate of the caste/tribe at the time of seeking admission if selected such a certificate should be produced from a competent authority before 15th July of the year of seeking admission, so that it may be submitted to the principal of the concern JNV at the time of admission.
