📝 NMMS Exam Pattern 2025 – Class 8 Scholarship

The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is a central government scheme that supports bright students from economically weaker sections. Every selected student receives ₹12,000 per year from Class 9 to 12.

Who can apply? Class 8 students in government/aided schools with annual family income below ₹3.5 lakh.

📚 Exam Structure – Two Papers

🧠 MAT – Mental Ability Test Topics

📘 SAT – Subjects Covered

• Mathematics – Class 7 & 8
• Science – Class 7 & 8
• Social Science – History, Geography, Civics

🔄 No negative marking in the NMMS exam. All questions are multiple choice (MCQs).

🎯 Selection Criteria

• Minimum 40% marks in each paper (32% for SC/ST/PH)
• Merit list prepared as per highest combined score of MAT & SAT
